Dr. Caiti Hauck<\/strong><\/a> is Director of Studies and Postdoctoral Teaching and Research Assistant at the Institute of Musicology of the University of Bern, as well as Coordinator of the editorial team of the Dictionary of Music in Switzerland<\/a>. Her main area of research is music in Switzerland since the 19th century, with a particular focus on choral societies and choral activities from a socio-historical perspective. Her project CLEFNI \u2013 The choral life in the cities of Bern and Fribourg in the long nineteenth century<\/a> was funded from 2019 to 2023 by the European Union\u2019s Horizon 2020 programme under the Marie Sk\u0142odowska Curie Actions (MSCA). She completed her PhD at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (Brazil) and partly at the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom) with the support of the CAPES Foundation (Brazilian Ministry of Education).
