Researchers

Dr. Caiti Hauck is Marie Curie Fellow at the Institute of Musicology at the University of Bern. She is responsible for the conception and the implementation of CLEFNI. Dr. Hauck holds a PhD in Musicology (2017), a Master of Arts in Music (2012), and a Bachelor in Music Education (2009) from the University of São Paulo (Brazil). Her PhD research was carried out partly at the University of Cambridge (UK) and was funded by the CAPES Foundation (Brazilian Ministry of Education). In addition to her research activities, she conducts the male choir of the Lausanne Police. Her publications are available at Research Gate.


Prof. Dr. Cristina Urchueguía is Professor of Historical Musicology at the Institute of Musicology of the University of Bern. She is responsible for the supervision of CLEFNI. Prof. Urchueguía is general secretary ad interim of the International Society of Musicology (IMS), president of the Swiss Society of Musicology (SMG), president of the Bern Section of the SMG, and vice-president of the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences (SAGW). She obtained her habilitation in the University of Zurich (2009), her PhD in the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg (1999), and a piano diploma from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia (1989).
